Dr King moved to Texas from Canada in 2000 after finishing her residency in Family medicine in 1999 at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She started her practice at 12 Oaks Medical Center in Austin next door to her Father Dr. David King and good friend Dr. Humberto Enriquez. She has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toronto.

Dr. King has an interest in preventative health and metabolic medicine , women’s health and hormone therapy for men and women. She also has experience in treating a wide range of issues including anxiety and depression, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders and skin disorders.

Dr. King enjoys exercise, being outdoors running and hiking as well as strength training and pilates. In her spare time she enjoys baking, spending time and traveling with her son and daughter.

Janet MacTurk has been providing care with Dr. King since January 2019. She started her nursing career in 2005 in Baltimore, MD. She has worked in multiple disciplines including ICU, Trauma and Interventional Radiology before obtaining her advanced practice degree. As a Certified Nurse Practioner, she provides primary care to men, women and children. She has a specific interest in preventative health.

Dr. King provides Janet with the necessary support, back up and training she needs to be able to assist you with your needs. Janet and Dr. King share something special, her Grandfather is from Dr. King’s home province of Newfoundland Canada.

She enjoys traveling to Hawaii to visit her brother's family and participating in ocean swims. She resides in Leander with her husband Rick.

Jessica Pierce has been with Dr. King since 2016. She has over 15 years experience in a medical office setting and ensures the office runs efficiently.

When you call the office she is more than likely the person who will answer the phone. She completes all insurance referrals and will be happy to answer any questions you have.

She is originally from North Carolina and moved here from Florida. She currently lives in Round Rock with her son Mason.

Debbie Harvey has been with Dr. King since 2019. She is a Native Texan and has recently relocated back to the area. She has several years experience at UT Health Center in Women’s Health and Dermatology.

She enjoys spending time with her children and her 9 grandchildren. She lives in Leander with her husband James and their 4 dogs.
